Yesterday, my family gathered together to have a small barbecue. We had such a relaxing and fun time catching up with each other and sharing stories. It was fairly hot, so I opted for shorts and wore a dress adorned with stars as a vest; I was channeling the American Flag with subtlety considering it was Memorial Day.

Memorial Day serves to honor and remember the brave people who have passed while serving in our country's armed forces. Thank you to these brave men, women, and their families for their contribution and sacrifices for our country.
